We all know that citrus fruits are packed with vitamin C and can be very good for us. But when it comes to our teeth, there is reason to use moderation with oranges, grapefruits, limes and lemons (other fruits contain acid but the four fruits mentioned have higher concentrations). All of them are acidic in nature. How acidic? Citrus can play a part in eroding tooth enamel when left in a concentrated form. With enamel weekend we are more venerable to cavities and decay.
