An Original, fun poem about dental health to read befor bed.
Have you ever woken up one day,
And felt your smile was… not okay?
Your teeth feel weird, not nice and clean
A fuzzy kind of in-between?
They’re not quite sharp, they’re not quite smooth,
They don’t quite fit, they’ve lost their groove.
It feels like sweaters grew in there—
A furry feeling… oh, beware!
That’s not a trick, it’s not a treat—
It’s plaque that’s sticking to your teeth!
Tiny germs that hide and cling,
And cause bad breath—eww!—and other things.
But fear not, friends, there’s stuff to do
To say goodbye to Fuzzy-Tooth Flu!
A toothbrush is your magic wand—
With paste that’s minty, fresh, and strong!
Brush up and down, and round each side,
Morning and night—take plaque for a ride!
Then floss between each toothy space,
To make sure plaque has no safe place.
And don’t forget, at least twice a year,
To see a dentist who’s full of cheer!
Dr. Mathews is the name to know—
He checks your teeth from high to low!
He counts them, cleans them, keeps them bright,
So they can sparkle day and night.
He’s kind and gentle, calm and cool—
And teaches all the golden rules!
So next time teeth feel weird or furry,
Don’t you fret, don’t start to worry.
Just brush and floss and flash a grin—
You’ve got the tools to win the win!
